TEC is a daughter Company of Telesom Company the biggest Telecom company in Somaliland, we were providing the Electricity as  a department of Telesom Company since 1999.

In 2014 the Board of directors of Telesom Company has decided to separate the electricity Service from the company then we formed the new power Company Named Telesom Electric Company, abbreviated as TEC

TEC currently provides Electricity to 16 Towns spread all over Somaliland regions, most of them are located at remote areas.

We provide the Electricity to the Following Towns: Lowyacaddo, Saylac, Xariirad, Boon, Borame, Wajaale, Gebiley, Arabsiyo, Hargeysa, Oodweyne, XaajiSaalax, CeelAfweyn, Buuhoodle, Xudun, Widhwidh, Garadag.
